Our billing system does not generate a patient charge until we receive an electronic explanation of payment from your insurance company. Therefore, clients will receive an invoice or notification of a charge approx. 2-4 weeks after each appointment. Cash, check and major credit cards are accepted for payment, either at our office, or online. It is requested that all clients keep a credit card on file.

This late cancellation/no show policy will be outlined in a the ‘Financial Estimate’ form sent to you prior to your initial appointment. Any cancellation or rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours prior to the appointment will not be charged a late fee.

Some insurance plans will only cover services with a specific medical diagnosis. It is the client’s responsibility to get a referral from a medical or mental health professional before we can meet for the first session. Please use this form to request your nutrition-related diagnosis from your Medical Professional or Mental Health Professional.

We believe everyone should have access to affordable nutrition counseling. Our self-pay rates for an initial consultation (90 minutes) is $210. Our self-pay rates for follow up sessions (30-60 minutes) are $70-140.

Under the law, health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for services. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your care will cost with our practice. If you do not want us to file with your insurance, a Good Faith Estimate will be provided upon scheduling and/or as requested. While it is difficult to predict the number of sessions you will ultimately need to reach your treatment goals, we strive to be as transparent as possible about the cost of treatment during this process.
