Chelsea (she/her) is a Registered Dietitian with experience in higher levels of care for eating disorders and supporting folks with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Chelsea also has a background in education. She is passionate about providing evidence-based nutrition education in engaging ways, encouraging others to challenge misinformation/diet culture rhetoric, and educating others about the impact of eating disorder on growth and development. Chelsea is licensed in Georgia and North Carolina.
Chelsea utilizes an individualized approach to nutrition care with a focus on gentle nutrition/intuitive eating, evidence-based MNT, and follows HAES principles.
She received her Masters of Science in Nutrition with a pediatric nutrition concentration, her Bachelors of Science in Human Consumer Sciences, and completed the dietetic internship at North Carolina Central University.
Chelsea enjoys crafting activities such as sewing costumes and crocheting. She also enjoys swimming, outdoor recreation such as hiking or rock climbing with friends, and spending quality time catching up on movies/shows with her husband, two cats (Ash and Atticus), and dog (Cranberry).
