Jordan is a Registered Dietitian and has been passionate about helping individuals with disordered eating and eating disorders since 2016. While completing her Dietetic Internship at Lipscomb University, she discovered a love for helping children, adolescents, and adults improve their relationship with food and pursue recovery. Prior to working with eating disorders exclusively, she worked in clinical, rehab and corporate wellness settings, as well as with athletes at Duke University. Jordan has experience working with children and adolescents at the inpatient and residential levels of care for eating disorder recovery, as well as a special interest in helping people who have disordered eating with a diabetes diagnosis.

Jordan’s approach to nutrition counseling is one where curiosity and empathy coincides with evidenced based nutrition science, anti-diet principles and Health At Every Size (HAES). Each person’s story is unique to themselves and their nutrition goals should be as well. Jordan believes in personalizing nutrition care so that each client feels supported and included in their treatment goals, while also prioritizing treatment within a comprehensive care team.

Jordan received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from East Tennessee State University and completed her Dietetic Internship at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. Jordan is also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP).

Favorite self-care activities include, getting outside whenever possible, hiking, reading, playing piano, trying new restaurants, and being with family and friends.
